My Mission
As a psychotherapist, my mission is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your inner world, heal from past wounds, and discover new pathways for growth. I believe in the power of connection and self-awareness, and I'm committed to walking alongside you on your journey towards greater well-being, resilience, and personal transformation. Together, we will work to uncover your strengths, navigate life's challenges, and cultivate a sense of peace and fulfillment that aligns with your authentic self.
My Approach
My approach as a therapist is rooted in warmth, empathy, and a genuine belief in your ability to heal and grow. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted, knowing that healing happens best when we feel truly understood.
I bring a blend of compassion and humor to our work, using lightness when appropriate to ease the weight of difficult conversations, while always honoring the seriousness of your journey.
Using my training in evidence-based modalities, I tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals.
I support life transitions, stress management, and exploration of deeper patterns.
I offer practical tools, thoughtful insights, and unwavering support.
Together, we'll build a partnership that fosters both healing and meaningful growth.
My Services
I offer individual as well as couples therapy, and some additional services such as groups, intensives, and retreats.
What "Teratai" Means to Me
Why " Teratai"?
"Teratai" is the Indonesian word for lotus. Indonesia holds a very special place in my heart; I am part Indonesian, and I spent many formative years of my life living there with my family.
There is a saying that from the murky mud of life grows the purely beautiful lotus flower, trusting in its own unfolding. For me, that is a beautiful metaphor for our lives. There is muck, and there is beauty and peace. Therapy can help us make meaning from our experiences, it offers opportunities for healing, and it provides a supportive, caring space to unfold into who you are becoming.
